Tuesday/Thursday A.M. Newsletter
Thank you so much for everyone who helped out with the Halloween party. The kids always look so cute and we enjoy seeing them have a good time. I hope you did too.
This month we have worked on:
· Recognizing our names
· Learning new songs
· Scissor skills
· Interacting with friends
· Hand strength – coloring & cutting
· Introduction of the letters E, H, T and I
· Science – color mixing, leaf facts, changing seasons
Thank you to our parent helpers this month. You were a great help.
Drop off and pick up have been going very well. Thanks for your part in this. Pick up is also going very quickly. We are usually done in about five minutes. We might have set a new AGC record this year!
The seasons are changing and we often need spare clothes. Please make sure your child has cold weather clothing at school.
We have a few of our coordinators for this year’s garage sale. Say a big thank you to the following:
Day of Sale Coordinator – Kim Rauchfuss (T/TH class)
Publicity Coordinator – Sara Terry (T/TH class)
I am still in need of a Set-Up and a Clean-Up Coordinator.
JUST A REMINDER…….
Book orders are due November 13th. If you are ordering online, you will need to submit it before midnight of November 12th. I usually try to put in a later date on the online form to prevent anyone from being unable to access it on the due date but I still like to get those submitted as close to the date as possible. Please let me know if any of the upcoming orders are going to be gifts for Christmas and I will hand them to you without your child seeing them.
Calendars, newsletters, and other miscellaneous information are posted on our website. To access this go to www.lcofm.org and click on the tab that says All God’s Children. Let me know if there is something you would like to see posted there. You can email me at ksleet2@hotmail.com.
The proofs for the school pictures have been returned to Norm at LOW Photography so we should be seeing those anytime. I know this is a busy time of year for him but he has always done his best to get them to us quickly.
