What a Day!.......LCOM Outdoor Worship/Church Picnic 2008 

Due to the rising water of the Sangamon River, the service and picnic was moved to the Lake of the Woods Pavilion.  What a treat!  Air-conditioning, solid floors (no mud), chairs and tables. 

Worship attendance was 135, we had approximately 100 who stayed for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and fabulous desserts.  About 30 people participated in the fishing derby and others sat in the shade and enjoyed the wonderful weather, snow cones and watermelon. 

PS.  We plan to be back at the same location next summer!
