Men’s Lunch: The first Monday of the month at 11:15 (December 1) at Los Zarapes in Mahomet for good food and fellowship.

Sharing the Faith With Friends: This small group will meet occasionally in 2009, beginning on Saturday, January 3, from 7-9 pm at the DeReus home. During this first evening, we will briefly review The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and start The Shack by William P. Young. Barb will have a list of questions on The Shack to hand out and discuss January 3 (or before). You will need to read the entire book, and it is very thought provoking! Prayer Gathering: You are invited to attend our Prayer Gathering in the sanctuary at 6:30 pm the last Sunday of each month (December 28). Prayers will be offered for the sick, our families, our community and our world.

Ladies Night Out: Sunday evening, December 21, at 6:30 pm. Meet us for an evening out at the Roth’s House in Mahomet. Hope to see you there!

Adult Bible Study Opportunities: Choose one, two, or three studies

Women’s Afternoon: The first Thursday (December 4) at 1pm, for the study of Acts, @ Hilda Pfiester’s. No homework.

Adult Evening Studies:The first Monday evenings at 7:15 pm, for the study of Acts, beginning at 7:15pm, (December 1) and the third Monday evenings (December 15) for the study on the Apostles’ Creed, beginning at 7:15pm both @ Hilda Pfiester’s. No homework.

Women’s Evening: The fourth Thursday of the month: (December 18 because of Christmas) at 7pm, and will be rotating homes. The study will be on the book, “Powerful Principles from Proverbs,” by Dr. David Jeremiah.

The Knitting and Crochet Group: Meet on theand third Tuesday of the month from 9 to 11 am.upcoming dates are December 2 and 16. We have a lot of fun learning new stitches, sharing ideas, and talking (of course!)Some of our creations go to charitable organizations like Crisis Nursery or Cunningham Children's.Others may be gifts to a family member or friend. Confirmation Class: Confirmation classes are on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.

High School Youth Group: The meeting time for the High School Youth Group has changed to 6:30 pm. Please note that you should watch the Youth Activities bulletin board in the Narthex near the Fellowship Hall because the group is not always meeting on Wednesday nights.
